The Journey Begins with NYC Subway

As I've said in the previous post, when you ride the train every day, it becomes a huge huge part of your life (stating the obvious?), and really effects...something. This is how I like to see it, though:

I would like to make some 5"x7" paintings from them. I prefer sketches, rather than painting from photos, because a photo can deaden the fantasy feeling as I'll can get obsessively into realistic likeness.

I'm definately painting this one - a girl escaping a picture bringing a star and a sun-like ball with her, and is still somewhat transparent:

And lastly, a tree growing, and strangers with a story...
